Xtore’s White Box NAS family was awarded the ‘Ultimate Storage 2003’ award by CRN. The award was presented at CRN’s Tech Builder Xchange event in San Diego, California on May 9th and was presented by Marc Spiwak, Technical Editor at the CRN Test Center.
Marc commented, ‘Xtore’s White Box NAS products provide a higher end solution than entry level NAS products by having hot-swap power and hard drives plus they fit into the channel model exceptionally well. The design allows integrators to easily value add other components including hard drives’.
The Director of Business Development at Xtore, Brian Cipponeri, was present to accept the award and spoke briefly about some of the unique things that put Xtore ahead in the market. They included patent pending GPS technology that allow the white boxes to support any brand hard drive, a blank area on the product where integrators can install their own product logo label, and Xtore’s commitment to the channel.
